Biestro carpentry was born in the ‘40s with today owner Valter’s grandfather. At the beginning it was a small carpentry but over the years it has been specialising in the production of solid wood doors and windows. The knowledge and the working techniques of wood are handed down from generation to generation to improve the quality of fixture by going with the times and the market demand and by maintaining a close relationship with the customer. Nowadays Biestro carpentry produces wooden doors and windows that follow European regulations; uses specific hardware and carries out specific painting cycles.
Designing and production techniques of solid doors and windows studied by the owner and the suppliers gave us the chance to create a fixture of various thickness and energy-efficient. The production takes place in a hangar in Mombarcaro, with more and more automated machineries that help processing steps and complete the technique knowledge of the artisan. We use high-quality materials to satisfy the request of customers: among the principal ones there are chestnut wood, cedar, eucalyptus. “Maico” hardware of doors and windows is high-technology with high resistance to atmospheric agents painting. Water painting happens internally through 3 work cycles: coloured impregnating and dip-dyed; charcoal spray finishing with guarantee of10 years duration by making maintenance and cleaning cycles with Remmers products.
Mainly Biestro’s carpentry artefacts are hardwood doors and windows, but the manufacturing includes also shutters (in various models like American-style, with swivelling palette, with Genoese small door, window shutters), inner hardwood doors in several models according to the needs and depending on the interest of the customer, tailored furniture and building products.
